Christian Education

Our youth program is active in many ways. You can be involved with worship through youth choir, drama, liturgy and mission times. A special “Time with the Youth at Heart” has a message for all ages. Educational time is provided after the special message and connects worship with what is being taught. Youth are encouraged to apply the Bible stories to their lives and relate them to what God is calling them to do. Youth Group Meetings take place the first Sunday after worship and focus on growing in faith, mission, fundraising, and fun events. Youth are encouraged to bring their friends. Mission Events are planned throughout the year & include dinners, singing, work projects and touching the lives of others. Fun activities include get togethers, parades, movies, The Saline Scarecrow Contest, The Saline Christmas Parade, Winterfest, Christmas caroling, parties, crafts, camping, etc. An after school program is being explored to provide homework help, fun activities, crafts, baking, devotions, and a safe environment for youth to have fun and grow. Vacation Bible School is in the works for this year and will provide a wonderful opportunity for youth and adults alike to work together making God’s world a better place.

Educational Hour

Every Sunday, the young people are invited to join the ministers up front for "Time with the Young at Heart".  The message ties in with the lectionary of the day. Sometimes there is a skit or action song and other times a story is told using multimedia. The first Sunday of each month, older youth stay in worship, and younger children attend Sunday School. On other Sundays during the school year, all youth attend Christian Education downstairs in the youth room.  Parents are to pick up childern after worship.

Come join the fun in the St. Paul UCC Nursery! Babies as well as children through age 4 are welcome.
